We are an evangelical church, which means we believe the good news of Jesus Christ saving us.  We are located in the Eastney region of Portsmouth, which is a beautiful seafront city.

Our church is made up of people from lots of different backgrounds who all have one thing in common that we follow Jesus Christ.  We are a friendly and caring community.

We hope you find out what you need to know about Jesus and us on this website.  You can get in touch on the contacts section or come along to the church.  You will be very welcome.

We hope to see you soon

Gatherings and Groups

Sunday Services

We meet together on Sundays and our time starts with songs and prayers. We then have a focussed time listening to a talk on a passage from the bible. Sunday morning service starts at 10.30am and usually finishes at 11.45am. There are children's groups for pre-schoolers (Little Fishes) and primary aged children (Discoverers). Refreshments are available after the service as people tend to stay around to chat. Once a month we have an evening communion service at 6.30pm.

Prayer is an important part of the life of the church. There are many opportunities to prayer together. Fortnightly on a Thursday at 7.30pm we meet for prayer at the church. We also have Prayer Mornings twice a year on a Saturday. There are prayer triplets and personal prayer groups. Please speak to a deacon for more information.

Discipling groups

House groups meet fortnightly to look deeper into the bible and to encourage one another. Different groups meet at various locations so speak to one of the deacons if you want to get involved. A ladies bible study group runs fortnightly on a Tuesday morning and Men's Breakfast meet periodically on a Saturday morning for breakfast followed by a short discussion on a passage of the bible.

Discoverers and Little Fishes

On Sunday mornings the children join the adults for the first 20 minutes of the service then go to their own age appropriate groups to learn more about God. Little Fishes is for pre-schoolers and Discoverers is for primary school aged children. All the team members are DBS checked and follow the Church's Safeguarding Policy.

Messy Church

Our family orientated Messy Church runs once a month on a Sunday afternoon starting at 3.30pm. it consists of fun activities, games and a short talk followed by a children's meal and coffee/tea and cakes for the adults. It is a friendly group and everyone is welcome. Be prepared to get messy though!
